Connor’s intricate ‘finger-style’ technique allows him to play many aspects of a piece of music; the Melody, rhythm, percussion, and bass – all without the use of loop pedals and effects. This makes him perfect for weddings, able to create beautiful interpretations of the songs you love.

It is such a rewarding experience to perform at a wedding. I absolutely love them even though there is a lot of preparation for weeks if not months beforehand. Although a little nerve racking, I simply can’t get enough of them! I have been lucky enough to play at many weddings and can say that each have been entirely different which has in turn helped me to develop my repertoire and learn to adapt to the needs of the client.

 I always accommodate the special couple in whatever way I can in learning their special songs; whether for walking down the isle, entertaining during the reception or adding background music to complement the wedding breakfast. There is nothing quite like the intense atmosphere and feeling as the bride begins her walk down the isle, the room silent except for my guitar. It is truly a pleasure to design and play the perfect set list for a wedding and I take pride in this. I understand the importance of the day and that it will always be remembered therefore I want to do it justice.

 Modern fingerstyle guitar/ classical guitar is one of the perfect styles of music to feature at a wedding as it’s non intrusive and the vast genres that can be covered means nothing is impossible.  I’ve had a lot of experience playing at weddings and feel extremely lucky to have shared in these special days.
